Japan's original elopement planning, photography & videography team.
Years documenting weddings & elopements in Japan.
Every prefecture in Japan explored by our team.
Weddings, elopements & destination experiences planned & documented.
Over the years, we’ve worked with couples who wanted very different things. Some are drawn to light, relaxed moments. Others want something quieter and more introspective.
Sometimes the work leans editorial. Sometimes it’s more documentary.Sometimes it’s digital, sometimes film, sometimes both. Video that is woven in seamlessly—a quiet documentary of your day, without fuss or production.
What matters most is that you will be heard. Your preferences, your hesitations, and the things that feel important to you aren’t treated as side notes or overridden by a preset style.
You are unique, and every elopement and intimate wedding is unique to us. Our approach stays steady, but the expression changes and adapts to you.
That balance comes from experience — a well-balanced and well-coordinated team built over more than a decade.
Because when your elopement day, location, details, and timing are right, you look and feel your best — and the photos and video turn out incredible.
We talk through your ideas, priorities, and constraints, and see whether we’re a good fit for each other.
Once the date is confirmed, planning begins with a clear structure in place.
Locations, timing, pacing, and logistics are planned with both the experience and the photos and
video in mind.
Permits, vendors, timing, and on-the-day flow are handled so you’re not managing decisions as they come up.
The day unfolds as planned, with space to adjust naturally as things happen.
"We live in traditional community, all my friends before us got married in a traditional way, often just because they were expected to do so. I can’t say enough great things about Henry. He was recommended for an engagement portrait session but then I realized he can help me make my dream of elopement in Japan come true to have more meaningful wedding day.
Henry started working way before any picture was taken. Because he wanted to truly get to know me and my partner, learn about what we like, recommended other vendors that matched our style, and even prepared a suggested itinerary for our whole wedding day I felt well taken care of. I often heard stories from my friends about their wedding day being totally taken over by wedding planners and venue staff, Henry gave us all the freedom we wanted to include all our requests.
We said our vows with a most epic view of Mt. Fuji in the background. Henry hiked with us all day and captured every magical moment. Every picture is so beautiful, I cried just seeing them on the camera screen. He totally let us be the way we truly and naturally are. Henry was so helpful with hiking tips, encouraging us, as we are not so frequently used to hiking. He is such a nice guy. He put so much effort without being even the slightest bit intrusive, respecting our privacy and intimacy of the day. I will recommend him to all my friends who still have to get married. I want to do it all over again!"

I’m a photographer and elopement planner based in Japan, working with couples who want a wedding day that feels intentional, personal, and unlike anything they’ve seen before. My role goes beyond documenting the day — I’m responsible for shaping an experience that fits you, not a preset idea of what an elopement should be.
That means holding the plan, guiding decisions, and stepping in when things need direction, while keeping the day open enough to breathe and unfold naturally. I’m supported by a small, trusted team, but accountability stays with me — from the first conversation through the elopement day itself.
“Our wedding day literally wouldn’t have been possible without him. Henry recommended locations, booked and coordinated the shrine and restaurant, hired staff (including hair, makeup, traditional clothing, and a translator), made reservations for transportation, and managed all the legal documentation. The amount of work that Henry did in addition to the photography is incredible.”

We live and work in Japan, but we plan elopements from the perspective of the couples we work with — most of whom are navigating a foreign country, unfamiliar language and customs, and a day that matters deeply to them.
Our work is shaped by things that can’t be replicated easily: real locations, real light, real timing, and knowing how a day actually unfolds both inside and outside of controlled venues.
We don’t follow a formula, but we don’t improvise blindly either. Each elopement is shaped through preparation, experience, and paying attention to what matters to you — not by repeating a preset look or selling upgrades as personality.
The result is a day that feels open and natural, while still being carefully handled behind the scenes — so you can focus on the experience, not the logistics.
