What does the press say about when will Japan open border?
It is clear to everyone that Japan’s first moves of opening borders in June was pro forma, a political move rather than an actual step towards full opening.
After a recent announcement, the date is set for next relaxing of the borders, September the 7th, and it finally arrived.
Pre-arrival PCR tests are dropped for travelers who have received three shots of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. The daily arrival cap is be raised to 50,000 and allow entry of foreign tourists on nonguided or so-called self-guided tours.
