There’s a magic that unfolds when two souls choose an intimate path to celebrate love. For C&M, their chosen path was a Nara elopement wedding, where tradition and adventure seamlessly intertwined. Picked up in a plush luxury Toyota Alphard from their Kyoto hotel, the drive led them to the heart of Nara’s countryside. Their abode? A meticulously renovated samurai castle, radiating a beauty that is timeless. As they stepped in, it wasn’t just the grandeur that greeted them but a warmth; the chef-host with culinary magic up his sleeves and staff that felt like long-lost family.

Waking up to the sounds of nature, their elopement day dawned. Each got ready in their own space, the hush of excitement in the air. Her mother, the sole witness to this poignant chapter, added layers of emotion as she assisted her daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law in their preparations. Their first shared glance as bride and groom? It happened on a private theater stage, nestled within the castle’s grounds, a dramatic prelude to the events that were to follow.

The nearby shrine, scouted and prepared just for them, became the canvas for their vows. As they exchanged promises, her mom watched from a distance, sending silent blessings their way. With the ceremony sealed, the shrine transformed into a backdrop for a series of immortal portraits that will be cherished for generations to come.

The hard work we put in meticulous planning paid off. Everything flowed smoothly, a tribute to the respect given to the local community and culture, ensuring that this Nara elopement wedding was in harmony with its surroundings.

Then came the rain, playful in its approach, gracing their day intermittently. But instead of a hindrance, it added a moody, ethereal touch to their journey. Their last sojourn? A hidden waterfall in the heart of the woods, nature’s hymn echoing their love.

Nara’s natural allure is undeniable. Its verdant landscapes whisper tales of centuries gone by, especially when one remembers that it once stood as a shogunate center. The juxtaposition of these lush surroundings with touches of luxury, like their castle stay, resonates with the essence of Nara. It’s a blend of nature’s grandeur with man-made opulence.
