For A&L, British Columbia was more than just home; it was where their love story began. But the desire to celebrate their union in a unique and intimate way led them across the Pacific to the picturesque coasts of Tokyo. Their destination: a beautifully renovated old Japanese ryokan, offering a blend of history, luxury, and serenity.

Upon arrival, the calming garden views of the ryokan beckoned them. It was here, amidst nature’s orchestra, that their day began. As they adorned themselves in their wedding attire, the ryokan’s garden served as the perfect backdrop for the day’s first portraits, capturing the excitement and anticipation in their eyes.

Using our dedicated taxi service, the transition from the tranquil ryokan to the coastline was seamless. En route, they made a delightful pitstop at a local eatery, handpicked by our team, ensuring their Tokyo seaside elopement had a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine.

The park by the coast held a special promise – a perfect spot for their vows. And as destiny would have it, a cliff with a panoramic view of the vast ocean became their chosen altar. Here, the couple exchanged promises, with the ocean’s whispers as their witness. The surroundings then played host for post-wedding portraits, each snapshot echoing their joy.

As the sun began its descent behind the clouds, the couple retreated to their ryokan. Awaiting them was a sumptuous multi-course Japanese dinner, served in the privacy of their suite, marking the perfect end to their adventurous yet intimate day.

Tokyo, despite its bustling millions, harbors serene sanctuaries perfect for such unions.
